Children’s Olympiad at the Swiss Ski and Snowboardschool Adelboden
For the sixth time in succession, the Children’s Olympiad at the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Adelboden is being held – this year on 25 March 2012. As the winter season comes to an end, lots of kids will be competing for victory on the slopes.

To qualify for the Children’s Olympiad, the child must have either won a place on the podium of a ski course final race during the winter or been a participant in the “Kandertal Kids on the Ski” training and skills development project.
The purpose of the event is to promote and sustain the enjoyment of winter sports and enthusiasm for skiing. All Kandertal Kids undertake a five-day basic training course as well as weekly training for two hours each school-free Wednesday afternoon with a ski instructor.
